Regarding the brouhaha in Houston…

Regarding the brouhaha in Houston (in which the mayor has subpoenaed sermons of pastors that may be contrary to her social agenda) , it appears that pastors are not prohibited from speaking against social issues from the pulpit, only the endorsement of a political candidate or party. Regardless, this is the reason our ministry has chosen not to file a 501(c)(3); we will not be held hostage to regulations that prevent us from sharing the Good News! I welcome further clarification to what is allowed and not allowed based on 501(c)(3) law.
